To qualify for either Championship you will need to enter the following classes. (A) VC 152. (B) One or more of classes VC 161, 162, 163 and 164 (we will use your best mark from one of these). (C ) The recital class VC 170.
One song by a British Composer 1899 to present day (not from an Oratorio, Opera or Show) AND one own choice piece. Both songs to be completed within 7 min
One aria (from any oratorio, serenata, cantata or religious work)
One aria (from any large-scale opera, in any language, not operetta or light opera)
One piece (from 17th century or earlier)
One 19th, 20th or 21st century English-language art song
One Lied (by Schubert, Schumann, Wolf, Mahler, Brahms, or Richard Strauss, voice and piano only)
One melodie (by Berlioz, Chabrier, Chausson, Debussy, Duparc, Fauré, Hahn, Poulenc, Ravel or Satie)
One Art song (not an opera or oratorio aria and must be in a language other than Latin, English, French, German or Italian)
Three pieces (of advanced standard to be sung from memory, including one in a language you are not fluent in)
